So, what is our next question tonight? Who do you blame for vanity? / The vanity thing, it's selfie. This is the whole thing. It's, uh, people are obsessed with selfie. "Selfie" has now made it into the dictionary, uh, the latest __ dictionary. "Selfie" is in there, __ new thing, people have been taking photographs for themselves for years, you know, people like Angela. Alone. ... And, uh, you know, you ... you go on holidays ... you go on holiday by yourself / loads of __ at home / with the family, like, on holiday / take photograph, but, you know, um, uh, the problem is, uh, in the old days, it was fine. You could reach, / hold out the arm to take a photograph. The selfie has now become so big now because of digital technology, so I blame Alexander Graham Bell beause, uh, it's easy now on your phone because / you can see what you have taken. That's the problem, right? That's the problem right there. People can reach out, click, "Oh, I look ugly in that?" and then try click, "Oh, that's not good." ... click ... "That's really not ..." ... How long does it take for you to realize you are ugly? It's just it. Just, it's not going to be any better than that. Uh, it's ... it's insane. You know, photographs are just so easy nowadays. That's the problem. When__ I was at school, / everybody / all / school photograph / everybody / school photograph / and it was a big deal. Once a yeah, the guy comes round, takes everyboy gets in, sits down, click, get the photograph taken, and it's a big deal. The night before, we used to have a bath. You know, the bath. The night before the photograph, you are having a bath, thinking "How explicit is this photograph?" And then you go into school, your hairs brushed and washed and blew-dried into a shape you or no one else has seen on you before. Then you get this photograph two weeks later at __ home, you are opening / "Who the hell is that? Oh, it's me. Right." and that goes on top of the piano for a year, and, for that entire year you hope you aren't kidnapped or lost because that's the photograph they're going to try to find you with ... and it looks nothing like you. It's sort of disposable now. That's the trouble. People have just become too self-obsessed. / Do you have a piano at home? / Yeah. /
